Assistant Property Manager

The Properties at Wright Field in Dayton, OH is looking to hire a full-time Assistant Property Manager to work at our residential community. This management position earns a competitive salary range of $55,000-$75,000 a year depending upon experience. ABOUT THE PROPERTIES AT WRIGHT FIELD
Serving Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since 2002, The Properties at Wright Field is currently home to over 2,100 active-duty military, non-active-duty residents, and their family members. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
As the Assistant Property Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Director of Property Management in managing and maintaining all facets of the community, including compiling and generating reports, as needed, by the Corporate Office. Main responsibilities include managing resident relations, approving rental applications, marketing/outreach, and accomplishing property objectives as set forth by the Corporate Office, WPAFB, and ownership.

Key responsibilities include : deliver high quality customer service to residents and ensure smooth daily operations of the facility; oversee all phases of the leasing process including prospect communication and agreement preparation; ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements including Fair Housing laws and office policies; Create and implement marketing programs to attract residents and maintain strong occupancy rates; Prepare and update daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on occupancy and rental activity; manage the leasing team and promoting a positive working environment.

You are successful in this role because of your strong organizational skills, marketing acumen, knowledge of Fair Housing laws, prioritizing customer service, and professional leadership abilities. In this role, you have a meaningful impact on the quality of life for our residents and their families. By providing excellent customer service, you are a friendly and courteous presence for our residents. You communicate effectively with your team and our residents, always maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

An Ohio Real Estate License (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment)

OR

CAM or CAPS certification (National Apartment Association) or CPM certification (IREM) or willingness to demonstrate satisfactory progress towards obtaining) .
Strong customer service skills
Computer proficiency
Professional, friendly, and courteous
Work well with other team members

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

This full-time position works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. May need flexibility for special events or occasions outside of normal business hours.
