Job description:
This is a Hadoop Platform Engineering role supporting a new initiative. As part of the SDP Solution Center team, the candidate must possess a passion for producing high quality data solutions, be ready to jump in and solve complex problems, and perform code reviews.

One round of Manger interview, one round of technical interview
Possible final round interview with a B3 leader
Top 3 skills:
1. Cloudera CDP Hadoop Administration with strong background in Unix and Infrastructure
2. Spark, Python, Pyspark
3. Hive, Impala
4. Ozone
Required Education: Bachelors +
Characteristics of a top performer; Self-motivated, needs minimal direction and strong analytical skills.
Deal Breaker Items: Lack of experience in large Hadoop environments.
Other required skills:
7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
Strong understanding of Java or Python
Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions
Experience working on Agile teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
1. Strong background in SQL
2. 5+ experience in Hadoop, Cloudera is a plus
3. Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
