Addison Group is partnering with a leading biotech organization in Alameda to hire an experienced HR Specialist.

Job Description:

We are looking for an HR professional with deep program-level experience to oversee and enhance multiple HR initiatives. This individual will partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support HR compliance, streamline processes, and lead special projects that align with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of HR programs including immigration, relocation, and employee recognition
• Act as the point of contact for mobility and immigration processes, partnering with legal and third-party vendors
• Manage and improve HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance and consistency across the organization
• Support policy communication and resolve escalated employee questions or concerns
• Contribute to special HR projects aligned with department goals and organizational strategy
• Audit and maintain accuracy of employee records in HR systems
• Develop process improvements to optimize program delivery and internal workflows
• Assist managers and employees with relocation packages and immigration documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5–8 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a generalist or program specialist capacity
• Prior experience supporting mobility, relocation, or immigration initiatives is strongly preferred
• Workday experience is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR operations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
