As an HR Specialist focusing on Employee Relations and Compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to policies and labor laws. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving issues related to workplace disputes, misconduct, and grievances. + Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies. + Develop and deliver training programs on critical topics such as workplace behavior, diversity and inclusion, and anti-harassment compliance. + Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, including equal opportunity regulations and wage/hour requirements. + Maintain thorough documentation of employee relations cases while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism. + Partner with legal counsel and HR leadership on sensitive cases as needed. + Continuously assess and recommend updates to HR policies and practices to align with best practices and legal requirements. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. + Minimum of 3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or a similar field. + Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment law regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA), and best practices. + Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to remain impartial and fair. + Certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, or certifications in employment law are highly valued.
