JOB DESCRIPTION :
- We seek a mainframe developer who will be able to help our team members support incidents and changes.
- Many of these applications are complex. Incident resolution will require investigating how jobs work and understanding the business logic embedded in these applications to find the incident root cause.
- We then expect that the analyst will provide inputs/guidance to other teams to solve incidents.
Additional Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL programming on IBM z/OS
- Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS, and CICS
- $AVRS
- ACF2 rules
- Sequential files (naming scheme)
- OPC (scheduling)
- Strong communication skills
(Desired)
- Experience in mainframe migration projects or modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Prior experience with ServiceNow
Soft Skills
- Must have good communication, interpersonal skills.
- End user knowledge in IBM mainframe and/or any ERP.
- Strong initiative and the ability to learn quickly are desired.
- Should have good team skills and positivity for working in a cooperative and diverse team environment.
