Great Basin Staffing LLC is currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician with a background in aerospace manufacturing . This is a full-time, in-person position for a technician with precision sheet metal fabrication experience , preferably within the aviation industry. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly detail-oriented, and capable of taking a lead role in production tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Layout, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components in accordance with customer specifications or aerospace standards

• Interpret and work from plans, technical drawings, travelers, and work specifications

• Use a variety of tools and equipment including saws, cutting machines, hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machines

• Perform tasks such as fitting, joining, fastening, deburring, drilling, shaping, and forming sheet metal components

• Finish products and inspect to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and dimensional specifications

• Coordinate with team members to move in-progress work forward and meet tight production schedules

• Support production by participating in status and planning meetings

• Communicate job progress clearly with coworkers and managers

• Repair and maintain fabricated components as required

• Assist in task scheduling and workflow coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 5 years of aviation sheet metal experience

• Solid understanding of aerospace practices, procedures, and industry standards

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and quality standards

• Ability to work collaboratively with other fabrication technicians and departments

• Comfortable with multi-tasking and task delegation when needed

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

• Type: Full-time, hourly

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (with potential for overtime or weekend work based on production needs)
