Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Limited X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting, assisting with various medical procedures and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This role requires strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient interactions, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Perform vital sign checks, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
• Take high-quality X-rays images
• Administer inhalation, SQ and IM medications
• Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes
• Check eligibility for insurances, understand billing
• Compliant in injection of medication, POC testing, urine analysis
• Able to multitask in a team player environment
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Licensed as limited X-ray Tech
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required
• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of medical coding practices.
• Experience with X-ray procedures is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of vital signs assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with strong patient interaction skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
